Team Spotlight: Meet Jordan

We're thrilled to welcome a new face to the Fritz Porter team— Jordan Hoffman, our new Head of Custom Sales. With a background in both sales and interior design, Jordan brings a unique blend of creativity and business savvy to the showroom floor. Whether you're dreaming up the perfect custom Verellen sofa or searching for the right rug to tie a room together, she’s here to guide you every step of the way. We sat down with Jordan to get to know her a bit better.

What is your background (school, the start of your career, etc)?

J: After graduating from Elon University with a degree in sales and marketing, I realized I wanted to explore my creative side as a potential career path. That led me to enroll in a post-graduate Interior Design program at Parsons School of Design. From there, I began working in high-end residential design throughout New York City and the Hamptons before relocating to Charleston.

What inspired you to pursue a career in the interiors/textile world?

J: I’ve always been drawn to curated spaces—especially the way they make you feel. Design is such an inspiring balance of creativity and function. I love how it can be deeply personal and intentional, tailored to reflect someone's lifestyle and taste.

What has been the most interesting aspect of working at Fritz Porter?

J: The most exciting part has been collaborating closely with incredibly talented designers. Being part of their creative process—helping source or build custom pieces and then seeing those ideas come to life—is rewarding and different every single day. No two projects are ever the same.

Fritz Porter is located in Charleston, how does the rich cultural and architectural heritage of Charleston influence you?

J: Charleston’s architectural and cultural heritage definitely informs how I approach custom design. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind rug or a bespoke Verellen piece, there’s always a desire to honor the history and craftsmanship that are such a big part of this city’s identity. It adds a layer of intention and story to everything we create.

Looking forward, what are some interior design trends you are excited to explore with Fritz Porter?

J: I’m loving the ongoing trend of layered, collected spaces that feel lived-in and meaningful. Clients are gravitating toward bold patterns and color right now—which I fully support! It’s exciting to help people take design risks that still feel grounded and personal.
